Clean Home Steam Mop

Originally, I purchased the Monster 1200 via their website. After seeing the infomercial several times and the wonders it did on hardwood floors, I was hooked! When I purchased the steamer, I also received the bonus bottle of cleaning solution, a window/mirror squeegy and floor mopping attachment. WHAT A JOKE! (As a previous review stated) the bottle ran out within minutes. The squeegy leaves streaks. The floor attachment leaks steam - it burnt me twice. What's more, the steamer spews hot water before it actually emits steam! This products does not steam fabric wrinkles as advertised (not even sheer curtains)!IT STEAMS...that's it. It does make cleaning gunk and hard-to-reach placed easier, but there are cheaper and SAFER products out there that do the same thing!BOTTOM LINE: Not worth the cost and does not meet my expectations. I gave it 3 stars because I did actually use it regularly...until it was dropped yesterday and stopped working.

I had one before but it quit working and needed another one. This one works even better than my first one did and does a really good job. The only problem I am having with it (and had with my first one) is trying to get the top of it off to put the water in. I have only used my new one once because I can't get the top off of it. I can't find my gripper right now so hope that will help whenever I find it or buy a new one. Monster 1200 Heavy-Duty Handheld Steam Cleaner

I think this little machine has it uses, crevices, stainless steel shines after you give it a shot of steam, but do not expect it to remove dirt, grime or hard water stains without some type of cleaner used along with it. Just as an FYI, you need to fill the sanitizing well with the liquid sanitizer or water for full pressure.

I don't usually review products but, after just cleaning my toilets, my microwave, and my persian rug with this thing-I had to. It's an excellent product that will make cleaning your house fun. It cleans so well, it's amazing. I've used it to clean counter tops too. I really like it and would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

I compared this machine to the comparable euro steam shark and found this one to have noticeably hotter steam. Hotter steam equals easier, more effective cleaning/disinfection, and it costed $40.00 less . I also tried a similar bissel, but it was only a wet vac. This arrived as/when it was supposed to. I would buy it again. I love this machine.

I bought this to clean some used baby toys. This is not a pressure washer, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It provides hot steam with enough pressure to loosen the grunge to wipe away with a sponge. The reservoir isn't large but it heats quickly so it can be used to clean many items.

We were skeptical when we bought this to clean around our home. Pleasantly surprised, we would recommend to buy this but not at full price. Does heat up good and hot, steam comes out and rarely water may drip if you have not tightened the top completely. Depending on the size of your job and your patience you may or may not find this unit useful for your needs. I love to use it daily at least once to clean over the kitchen area, shoes and bags/purses that have been outside on public buses / out and about. Works great on bathroom mirror (kids constantly splattering on that daily, now I can clean it up daily with ease)and love to use on windows / [atio door where kids dirty up quickly. Always a streak free cleaning. If you have a larger job patience is a must. Although it does hold steam for a good 6 minutes or so, you will then need to unplug it, wait a good 5 minutes before even attempting to open the top (even then you may get spattered with hot water) slowly to let cooling progress a little quicker. Wait another 5 minutes before attempting to pour more water inside otherwise you will get splashed and steamed from that as well. Once you can get it refilled you must wait about 4 more minutes to heat up again. For me this has not been a problem, I just go off and do something else.

I agree with other viewers that wish it held more water and eliminate the bottom extra disinfectant cleaner it's a total waste. Would not buy another one..

I have found nothing wrong with it! It works great! I use it for everything! Its great for deodorizing and it get very hot, so you know its getting stuff clean. Comes with a great bag to put all your stuff in..
